I feel like I’ve been building up to this shopping ban for a while. I attempted a 30 day “no buy” back in April but didn’t quite make it. I’ve just had this nagging feeling that I need to SHOP LESS. It has been showing up in different ways in my life lately- lots of signs!  I have multiple reasons for wanting to do it, which I’ll share below, but ultimately it’s about control.

Lisette High Waist Leggings

Even though I have mainly worked out at the home the past 4 years, I still like to have workout clothes that I feel really good in! I want stuff that fits, is comfortable and that I could wear out of the house.  With the whole athleisure trend, I love when I can wear my workout clothes not just to workout but also to grab lunch or run errands!

I decided to take part in the Winter 10×10 style challenge last month! I was feeling really sick of my “post partum” clothes so I thought that this would be a great way to get me excited about getting dressed in the morning again! And it did help. It forced me to make more of an effort which felt good. I also realized that I do own a LOT of clothes still! I was feeling like hardly anything fits me but really,

Have you guys heard of Poppy & Dot? It’s an online boutique that I found on Instagram and fell in love with!  I have a top and dress from them; both are incredibly soft and actually fit me while pregnant hehe I really love that their designs are a little more on the “modest” side but still cute and trendy. The longer lengths of the dresses is right up my alley!

You can shop both their Instagram and their website but if you shop their website and use code sophie10 you’ll save an extra 10%!

Somehow, I am already 32 weeks pregnant. Um, what?! Second trimester always seems to fly by! I think even more so this time because it was Summer so I was extra busy!

I’ve now reached that uncomfortable stage and it’s getting hard to sleep at night but still, overall, I think I have pretty great pregnancies and I’m very thankful for that!

I thought I’d do a recap of my second trimester outfits.

Fall is quickly approaching! I love Fall, I have to admit.  Summer is great and the Winter holidays can’t be beat but when it comes to style, Fall is my jam. Give me all the layers, boots, cozy cardigans and hats!

I was pretty happy with my maternity wardrobe all Summer and I feel like going into Fall I’m pretty set! It’s kind of a great season to be in your third trimester because….

I was recently in Target, as usual, trying on a bunch of clothes and thought it’d be fun to share here!  I’m excited to see Fall stuff hitting stores although I’m really limiting what I buy since I’m pregnant.

Some of these items are maternity but some are not!  So this post isn’t just for my pregnant ladies.

Oh and Beckett woke up from a nap right as I was starting to try things on so he was pretty unhappy at first…

Trying to find the right maternity clothes can be a PAIN so I thought I’d show you guys some of what I’m loving and wearing this pregnancy to maybe help you out! Most of these are newer purchases since I am a smaller size this pregnancy than I was last time.

Maternity:

Liz Lange Essential Maternity Tanks: I bought a few of these during my last pregnancy (black,

Last pregnancy, I was pregnant from Aug-May… This time I’ll be pregnant from Feb-Nov! Totally different time of the year! First trimester we were still dealing with a lot of cold, Winter weather but now we’re starting to have some hotter days. Second trimester will be during Summer which I love because I can wear lots of dresses and skirts!

It has been a while since my last outfit catch up post! Winter is just an off season for taking pictures of your outfit, I think.  It’s cold outside, there’s less good lighting and you can only see me in leggings and a cardigan so many times before you get bored. 😉

Today the sun was out and it was 55F so perhaps knowing Spring is coming has me feeling inspired to do one of these posts!
